Position Overview

Ultimate Staffing is actively seeking a Logistics Coordinator to join their client's dynamic team in Fresno County. This role involves managing various aspects of logistics and ensuring the smooth operation of shipping and receiving processes. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service and work collaboratively with multiple teams to meet the organization's logistics goals.

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers at the Will Call window and provide friendly, professional service.
  • Process pickup orders efficiently and accurately, verifying order details and payment as required.
  • Answer and route incoming phone calls for the Shipping Department.
  • Coordinate with shipping and production teams to ensure orders are staged and ready for pickup.
  • Plan and schedule shipments to meet customer deadlines and production requirements.
  • Collaborate with the Project Management team to ensure customers have completed their final payments and are prepared to take possession of their shipments.
  • Coordinate the movement of materials and parts to off-site processing centers for additional manufacturing processes.
  • Coordinate with warehouse, production, and logistics teams to ensure materials and products are ready for dispatch.
  • Maintain and update shipping schedules and communicate changes to relevant teams.
  • Arrange transportation with carriers, including scheduling pickups and deliveries.
  • Maintain accurate records of shipments, including shipping logs, bills of lading, and tracking information.
  • Assist with production documentation by printing and sorting production paperwork for distribution to the shop floor.
  • Verify incoming shipments to ensure materials match purchase orders, inspect for damage or shortages, and communicate any issues or discrepancies to the Inventory Control and Purchasing departments.

Qualifications

  • Strong administrative skills (data entry, document management, scheduling, filing).
  • Proficiency with computer systems.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Maintains a professional, team-focused, and customer-oriented demeanor in a fast-paced, high-traffic environment.

Required Work Hours

Monday through Friday, 1st shift.
